TextExpander - expands abbreviations that I type into longer words or sentences. A big time-saver.
iWork - Apple's easy-to-use suite for doing anything from writing college papers to making flyers.
1Password - not only remembers all my passwords, but also fills them into the appropriate places on web pages and generates great new ones to fit each website's individual requirement in terms of number of symbols, length of password, etc.

Gigapxl Project - a really cool photo project involving taking photos from a custom-built ultra-high-resolution camera.
North American Numbering Plan Administration (NANPA) - the people responsible for all area codes in North America.
